Cat Nap #4 – World Boss Macro

I found this macro that lets you know which world bosses you have defeated for the week. It simply runs a script and prints to your chat window showing with a “yes” or a “no” which bosses you have / have not done as shown below.

Disclaimer – I am not the original author of this macro, I just have found it very useful and what to share it with everybody.

/run for k, v in pairs({ Galleon = 32098, Sha = 32099, Nalak = 32518,
Oondasta = 32519, Celestials = 33117, Ordos = 33118}) do print(format
("%s: %s", k, IsQuestFlaggedCompleted(v) and "\124cff00ff00Yes\124r"
or "\124cffff0000No\124r")) end

A screenshot of the output of the macro. You can clearly see which bosses you have and have not done.

Hope you are feeling refreshed after our cat nap.

  1. SavedInstances is an addon that tracks Raid/Dungeon lockouts, World Boss Kills, Profession Cooldowns, VP/JP counts, and coin turnins. It also does it cross character (so you can see all your toons) assuming you’ve logged into the toon that week.

    • Hi Hasteur and thanks for your comment.

      Cheers for the addon suggestion. I know that there are several addons that do this function. I am a fan of macros because they are light weight. My computer is starting to get on in years and I like to keep the load to a minimum. But that sounds great for those altaholics out there. Thanks.
