Since we are under 24 hours away from Mists of Pandaria going live I would like to share some tips and pointers to give you a leg up going into Mists. But before I go into that, last week I was interviewed by Deededee from Sheep Moon Week in Review where we discussed all things Feral Druid. Talent choices, glyphs and symbiosis were covered. I had loads for fun doing the interview (it was my 1st time) so a huge thanks to Dee for having me on. You can check out Episode 8 over at his website sheepmoon.com. Now, on with what will be my very last blog post for Cataclysm.
Before I get into this weeks post I have a few shout outs. A podcast that I listen to called Darkmoon Herald was talking about different strategies and methods to get the guild achievement for killing 50,000 critters. I sent them an email with a suggestion that my friends and I did in order to get the achievement which they discussed in episode 25. You can check out episode 22 of The Darkmoon Herald for more information on this achievement. If you would like to know what my friends and I did exactly, leave a comment or send me an email.
Hey readers, just a quick mid week update. As some readers may know, I try to be active in the WOW community by commenting on blogs, being active on forums and participating in discussions. One blog that I have been following basically since its creation is Sheep Moon. Sheep Moon is run be Deededee a fellow WOW player. I like his blog because he talks about different issues and items that are not news related. He has had a series running where he ranks raid instances and discusses what he liked / disliked and what could have been improved. He has a really interesting perspective.
First I would like to give a shout out to The Training Dummies who once again mentioned me and my blog in their show. Thanks guys and keep up the great work.
The end of expansion doldrums are upon us, but don’t let this time of boredom stop you from achieving something worthwhile. This is the perfect time to catch up on things you have missed out on. Today I offer some suggestions of things to pass the time until Mists of Pandaria releases in just over 2 weeks.
I have a quick announcement before I get into today’s post. I spend a lot of time listening to many podcasts and like to leave comments when I can. One podcast called Tauren Think Tank has a segment called ‘Tell us one thing’. Listeners can send questions into the show for the hosts to answer. I sent them in a question asking “If you could go back in time, to what time would you go?” and they answered it on the show, episode 17. But, Rem who is one of the hosts pronounced my name wrong. He pronounced it as “Ela – marie’. The other host Jules, pronounced it correctly, El-la-mar-ree (it rhymes with calamari). It made me laugh, so if you like WOW related podcasts definitely check out Tauren Think Tank.
Today’s blog post has been inspired by another podcast I listen to called The Training Dummies. In this podcast they talk about all sorts of things you can do as a WOW player to improve your performance. It is focused around raiding and PVE content. In their latest episode (ep 9) they had a listener send an email in and ask about advice for leveling a Feral Druid. With Mists of Pandaria under a month away it made sense to me to do a sort of guide / tips post about leveling a Feral Druid. So let’s dive into it.
When you have been playing a certain class long enough you get to know all the in’s and out’s of spells and abilities. One thing that I have noticed in this expansion is the number of druids that simply do not use stampeding roar at all / frequently enough.
